On September 5,1942 it happens:
Marga and Manfred, too, are forced to
leave what used to be their hometown.
With some carry-on baggage, guarded
by police officers, they walk together
with their parents and the Stern family
-the little twins Sammy and Max,
Margas girl friend Marga, their
parents and grandmother- through
town to the Burghaun railroad Station.
They have to board the ‘four o’clock
train’, as people call it, and their
destination is the temporary camp (a
gathering place) at Kassel. From there
they are beeing carried off in box cars
to the far off concentration camp
Theresienstadt together with many
other fellow-afflicted.
