After all the deprivations caused by the war the Red Cross sent in the fall of 1945 Dutch children to
Sweden for recuperation. Dr. Cahn in Apeldoorn had booked for Alfred and Gertrud too.
to be finally back together with you again.
Rosh Hashanah is over and tonight starts Yom Kippur. I
will fast for the first time a full day. I also want to wish
