My Dear Parents,
I was very happy to receive your recent letter. On
Wednesday I returned from Apeldoorn. It took me only
four hours.
I received a wonderful package from uncle Hermann. It
included tea, coffee, cocoa, oil and many other good
things. I hope that I soon will have the opportunity ,
through the efforts of the Red Cross, to be reunited with
you.
I am looking forward my dear parents
In the meantime Alfred had visited his sister Gertrud, who lived with the Cahn family in
Apelddorn. There was not any contact with her since he was arrested in spring 1943.
