Alfred is about fife feet tall and of average statue . While I was there I was fortunate enough
to be able to give him pair of my shoes - heavy army type and some woolen socks but that
was about all.
I tried to get as much informations from Alfred as possible but due to the fact that he was
separated from his parents in 1939 - he is fourteen years old, there is very little he
remembered.
He believes his parents are dead and that the older of his two sisters, Milly, had been sent to
Poland. The other sister, he believes to be somewhere in Holland.
As I said before, the peoples he is living with are grand. I spent several evenings at
their home and had quite an opportunity to become acquainted with them. I made every effort
to impress upon them the importance of keeping Alfred with them until you had been
contacted.
In the event that Alfred might have to leave them I told him to be sure to give them his
forwarding adress so you could follow his movements.
I believe I have included all the information I have. However if you are in doubt as to
anything I would be only too glad to answer any questions.
I would suggest you reach me by writing my parents as my future whereabouts will be
unknown for some time.
