Creation of a new existence in New York
After that, as of 1967 I held a
management position with
the tow truck company of
Max Nussbaum from Rhina.
Nussbaum bought chassis
and other raw material,
subcontractors manu-factured the tow trucks,
which he sold with the
customary warranty. After
Max Nussbaum’s death I
entered into partnership
with his nephew, and the
two of us together managed
the business.
After three years I asked
for my share to be paid off,
how-ever, for some time I
still worked for the com-pany just as an employee.
